It's finally over! After three years of 'study' I've finished and submitted my final film! I'll have a copy online for those who want to see it eventually, but for now I want to wait until after the cinema showing next week. I propably won't leave online for too long either because I'd like it to stay exclusive to my show reel.

Now that it's finished I don't know what to do with myself. No deadlines to work, no schedule to live by. So I'm considering doing something I've never done before. I'm thinking of opening up for commissions! Unfortunately I don't think I have quite a strong enough following to actually get much of a response, but I'm thinking about it at least. I need to think of what exactly I can offer in regards to commissions and what would be fair pricing for it as well...

I also applied for my first animation job about a month ago, but I got turned down . I'm not too surprised really. I'm not known at all in the industry yet, and I don't think I had a show reel that reflected what I'm really capable of. I'm hoping now that I've got my 3 minute film I can bump it up a notch. I'm also hoping to sort out some animating for a project my brother mentioned.

Saw the Star Trek movie this evening too! It was awesome! And I almost went catatonic when I saw the new Princess and the Frog trailer! Is everyone else wishing it was December already?

Now that I've proved I'm not dead, I think I'll go collapse on my bed.
