My internets is going to be a little retricted for a while. It seems the inevitable has occured and my laptop is all virus loved up. Damn virus hooking up with MY laptop! I had suspected for a little while but hoped otherwise as my antivirus didn't detect anything. My disc space was filing up consistantly but I assumed it was because I was consistantly making new files . But now Windows won't boot up or shutdown properly; and despite taking off all my personal files and attempting to defrag, my disc space is alarmingly small . I'm pretty much certain now as it booted up with the firewall turned off and it wouldn't allow me to turn it back on. Huh, stupid virus.

But you don't need to know all this, and I think I have all my stuff backed up so I'll probably wipe the machine when I get chance later in the week. And 3 1/2 years without a virus is pretty good, I'd say

At least I can use my family's computers. The joy of not having to hammer the keyboard to type out a sentence! Unfortunately late night trawling through fanfiction is out of the question . What will I do at night???

In other news, finally got another job interview on Wednesday. It's only a seasonal temp, but I'm hoping if I prove I'm damn amazing they'll keep me on permanent. And long term I can possibly work part-time and do my Masters Degree at the 'local' University. I still want to try for the Pixar program, but I know my experience is limited and my show reel doesn't really reflect much of what I can do

I'm working on it though! Slowly mind you. Hopefully I'll have a bigger room by the end of the month, with a desk! An actual desk that I can draw at! And a book case! I won't have to sit on boxes of books and DVDs anymore!!! Still don't know what colour to decorate though. Mum is ever so 'subtlely' trying to suggest a purple colour, but I'm not keen. I like purple but I don't think it's really me anymore. I had my room that colour in our old house.

Lets see... I also Graduated last Thursday! I thought it would feel kinda redundant as we finished Uni 3 months ago, but it was actually really great! It was really cold but at least it was nice and sunny! I got to spend the afternoon with my housemates and classmates. We went out that night to the '80s bar! IT was awesome. Cocktails £1.99 all night! Almost as good as the Dungeon. Shame I gave myself blisters running for the train the next day I had to rush home for another family party, lol! So yeah, drinking two nights on the trot with little sleep left we kinda wiped out this weekend. It was a shame I couldn't have stayed in Southampton longer, even if it was a little weird staying in the house-that-wasn't-my-house-anymore.

I miss my uni buds . I wish I could live with them again. I sorta wish I'd had the guts to stay in Southampton and try to find a job there. But there's no way I could have kept up with rent and bills. I'm still wrestling with my overdraft now. Everytime I get some benefits come in, I find something to go out. I still have savings but the longer I can stay out of those the better. Most of it is my inheritence and I wanna save it for something special.

Bah... and there have been some awesome semi-good paying jobs I've applied for, but I'm rejected everytime because I haven't got enough 'experience'. We all know how fun this scenario is. You can't get a job cos you got no experience, can't get no experience cos you can't get a job.

Anyway, blah blah, I could go on forever. Seriously I could. I'm like flood gates. It's a real problem. Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever gets a word in edge ways. Well Matt does, but he's loud too. And a massive geek so he has lots of useless stuff to say. Me, I at least have semi useful information. Okay, so none of it is actually present in this journal, but I say useful stuff all the time!
